With over 200,000 private investors in the DACH region, Parqet offers a unique insight into investment behavior in the German-speaking world. Throughout the year, we regularly publish interesting insights from this data.

At the end of the year, we examined investment behavior in 2023 and took a special look at individual brokers. The result is the Parqet Broker Awards, with which we spotlight the respective providers in various categories.

In total, we analyzed more than 3 million verified activities with a transaction volume of over 2 billion euros.

Most Popular Broker by Invested Capital: Scalable Capital

With more than 500,000,000 euros in transaction volume and net invested capital of more than 170,000,000 euros, Scalable Capital wins in the category "Most Popular Broker - Invested Capital".

Most Popular Broker by Number of Users: Trade Republic

Measured by the number of users, Trade Republic is the most popular broker in the Parqet community. On average, one in four Parqet users has an account with Trade Republic.

Strongest Growth: finanzen.net zero

We also examined which broker grew the most this year compared to the previous year. This award for 2023 goes to finanzen.net zero.

Most Active User Base: quirion

Finally, we examined which broker had the most active Parqet users. To do this, we took the number of buys and sells per broker and divided by the number of users at those brokers. With an average of more than 150 transactions in 2023, the award for most active user base goes to quirion.
