After we enabled the CSV import for Parqet a while ago, a CSV export is now also available. As a Plus or Investor user, you can export your existing activities with just one click and, for example, create your own analyses in Excel or Google Sheets.
In the last Friday Fireside, Sumit explained the feature and its benefits:
How to Export Your Activities
You'll find the CSV export in the activities overview of your Parqet portfolio (only for Plus or Investor subscribers). By clicking the "Export as CSV" button in the top right, a CSV is automatically created and downloaded.
Activities and Calculated Values in the Export
In the exported CSV file, you'll find all activities in your portfolio – i.e., buys, sells, dividends, etc. In addition to information such as the purchase price and number of shares, the export also contains some calculated values such as realized gains or the average holding period of an activity.
The column for realized gains shows you the exact calculation of realized gains per transaction according to the First In – First Out (FIFO) principle.
The column for the average holding period of an activity is also a calculated value. This indicates how long a holding has been in your portfolio on average.
The following columns are in the export:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| datetime | Timestamp of the activity in ISO 8601 format |
| date | Date of the activity (Year - Month - Day) |

Full Flexibility in Analysis. Share Your Templates in the Community
With the CSV export, you have full flexibility over your Parqet portfolio. If you want to perform your own analyses in Excel or Google Sheets, for example, you can now access your recorded activities. We're curious to see what ideas and dashboards emerge from this. We also invite you to share created templates with the community.
