Stocks and ETFs are only part of your wealth. Many investors own tangible assets that appreciate significantly over the years: luxury watches, classic cars, art, wine, or jewelry. You can now track these assets in Parqet alongside your securities.

Why track tangible assets?

Tangible assets are often more than collector's items. Certain watches from Rolex or Patek Philippe have appreciated by double digits per year. Classic cars like the Porsche 911 or Mercedes 300 SL can multiply in value. Without tracking, you won't know how well these investments actually perform compared to the rest of your portfolio.

How it works

1. Create an asset

Create a new asset in your portfolio:

• App: Tap the + button (bottom right) → Manual → Other Assets
• Web: Click + Add Activity (bottom right) → Manual → Other Assets

Give it a name like "Rolex Submariner" or "Porsche 964" and upload a photo. You can upload the image when creating the asset or change it later via the holding management.

2. Add valuations

Enter the purchase price as the first valuation and update the value regularly. For current market values, you can use external sources like marketplaces, auction houses, or valuation platforms.

Parqet automatically calculates the full value development from your valuations.

3. Record costs

Tangible assets often come with running costs like storage or maintenance. Record these as expenses in Parqet so you can see the real net return, not just the appreciation. We've also recently updated the activity form, making it even easier to record income and expenses.

Example: Tracking a luxury watch

You own a Rolex Submariner purchased in 2020 for 9,500 EUR:

In Parqet, you can see the full value development of your watch and how it compares to your ETFs.

Everything in one view
